The fringe incorporates geometric and floral patterns which are a nod to the symbolic motifs found in Huipiles. T
he beaded portion is hung from a stainless steel ball post. These earrings are handwoven by women artisans from vulnerable communities in Medellin, Colombia who receive fair working conditions and compensation for their skills.
