Jinhwa Jang illuminates the world with her creations. By her talent obviously, but also because she succeeds in retranscribing the so singular atmosphere of the arteries, of the constructions which traverse the cities in which she settled. Born in South Korea, she lived in China for eight years, mainly in Shanghai, before moving to New York to study illustration and finally landing in Seoul, in the amazing Digital Media City district. It is undoubtedly in this urban environment common to all the stages of her life that Jinhwa draws her inspiration: teeming buildings, avenues populated with luminous signs and very contrasting colours.
